Early in the week there was still a lot of bass schooled up, and chasing bait on the surface. Small flukes, and swimsuits got it done on fish from 2-4 pounds. Not much word on any other bass bite taking place here. There was a few large bluegill reported to the marina, but as usual with the panfish no details were disclosed. Not word on any catfish last week.

The summer long bite is still holding up, with breaking fish all over the main ale. Small flukes, and swimsuits have been getting bit the best and the average fish is 3 pounds. The bite that has gone on all summer continues to hold up, despite the weekdays cold, rainy weather. The majority of the bass population remains schooled up and chasing silversides on top, which once again made for some outstanding days on the water!
