The bite that has gone on all summer continues to hold up, despite the weekdays cold, rainy weather. The majority of the bass population remains schooled up and chasing silversides on top, which once again made for some outstanding days on the water! Small flukes, and swimbaits worked on the breaking fish, that are now averaging close to 3 lbs. There were some reports of catfish being seen in the trees and one angler reported an estimated 60 blue that fell for an ika. Panfish took the week off as some of the lakes best bluegill/redear anglers came up empty.

Panfish action has been spotty at best, and only a few small bluegill were reported to the concession last week....... Read More

The finesse bite has picked up a bit in the afternoon hours, also off of main lake points. Both panfish and catfish went unreported to the concession last week. ...... Read More
