Good Week of Fishing!

It was a good week of fishign here. The fall bass bite is just ready to peak and usually produces larger fish. The senkos, green robo, brush hogs and rubber frogs are working well. San Carlos Cove has been productive this week with some larger bass hitting there. Live worms continue to do well. The bluegill continue to be good but for how much loner it not know.

Greeting from Lake Miramar. It cooled off a little this week which helped at least make it comfortable to get out. The bass bite has slowed down some but the bluegill bite remains good. The shallows in the coves have been surprisingly good. Get out early for the best results. Try the senko with a drop shot or the purple robo worms. Greetings from Lake Murray. As we leave August and move into September the temperature is beginning to drop which is good just for the sake of comfort. There have been some bigger catfish caught this week out deep by the dam. Cut mackerel was working well there. Bluegill around the dock near the tulles has been good. Night crawlers and meal worms are working there. The bass bite has slowed some. You definitely need to get out early these days...... Read More
