Hello from Your Lake Jennings: The bass are all over the bank. Lots big girls The trout bite is good and steady at all the same spots for the last couple of weeks. One hot technique has to troll Berkley Power Worms. Cats are conspicuous by their absence.

Best Trout Spots: Sentry Point , Eagle point and Cactus Patch.
Best Trout Lures / Bait: Inflated crawlers on a 2 ft. leader dipped in scent.

Best Cat Spots: No place.
Best Cat Bait: Night crawlers and mackerel. Use scent liberally.

Best Bass Spots: Every 15 ft. along the shore.
Best Bass Lures /bait: It is jig time using creature baits. Carolina rigged lizards have been very good.

Water Temp. 64 to 65 degrees on surface.

Notables: Lots of teen bass reported by anglers who want to keep the bass bite secret. Sorry guys the word is out?Ķ

Prognosis: Mt. Lassen will deliver another 1000 lbs of trout on Tuesday. We have extended our trout stocking thru Easter. The bass spawn is full on.

The Lake Jennings Free Fishing University will be teaching bait fishing for trout and catfish all week at the Fred Hall Show.

Lake opens at Saturday @ 6:30 AM closes for fishing at 7:30 PM
Lake opens at Sunday @ 6:30 AM closes for fishing at 7:30 PM

Starting next Friday we are open every day until Easter 6:30 AM until 7:30 PM

Hello from Your Lake Jennings: The bass have moved up and are all over the bank. Lots big girls being see but are very spooking. Lots of 3's, 4's and 5's being caught but none reported over that. Hello from Your Lake Jennings: We have extended our trout plants thru Easter. The bite was better the trout in all the usual places. The average was 3 per rod. Same as last week in the bass dept. Bass are everywhere but big girls are playing hide and seek. Lots of males being caught. Brush hogs have been excellent. Cats are scattered all over the place but no big blues have shown up.
