September 10, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

09/10/2020
The Liberty caught 197 Yellowfin Tuna, 15 Skipjack Tuna, and 1 Dorado for 40 anglers on their full day trip.

The Dolphin called in with 31 Yellowfin Tuna, 41 Skipjack, 27 Yellowtail, and 17 Dorado so far on their full day trip with 21 anglers. 

The Tomahawk called in with 34 Bluefin Tuna (up to 40 lbs.), 20 Yellowtail, 18 Yellowfin Tuna (25 to 50 lbs.) and 1 Dorado to start off their 2 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen called in with 113 Bluefin Tuna (40 to 150 lbs.) and 43 Yellowtail (15 to 30 lbs.) and 5 yellowfin (40 to 75 lbs.) for Day 3 on their 3.5 Day Charter. They are still fishing. 

The Pegasus returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (30 to 85 lbs.) for 18 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Outrider returned with 15 Bluefin Tuna (up to 60#) and 11 Yellowfin Tuna (up to 50#) for 11 anglers on their 1.5 Day Trip. 

The Pacific Dawn returned with LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna (95) and LIMITS of Dorado (38) for 19 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander returned with 43 Bluefin Tuna (up to 90 lbs.) and 14 Yellowtail (15 to 25 lbs.) for their 2.5 Day trip with 27 anglers.


9/9/2020
The Liberty caught 84 Yellowtail, 72 Dorado, 62 Yellowfin Tuna, and 7 Skipjack Tuna for 36 anglers on their Full Fay Offshore trip.

The Dolphin caught 48 Yellowtail (15-20#), LIMITS (65) of Bonito, and 17 Calico Bass for their Full Day CI trip with 13 Anglers.

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS (48) Dorado, 40 Yellowfin Tuna, 50 Yellowtail, 5 Skipjack for their Overnight trip with 24 Anglers.

The Intrigue called in with LIMITS of Calico Bass for their half day private charter.

The Condor returned this morning with 37 Dorado and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 20 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
