September 5, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Outrider called in with 15 Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowfin for 11 anglers on a 1.5 Day Trip. 

The Islander called in with 43 Bluefin Tuna (up to 90 lbs.) and 14 Yellowtail (15 to 25 lbs.) so far on day 2 of their 2.5 day trip with 27 anglers.

The Liberty caught 84 Yellowtail, 72 Dorado, 62 Yellowfin Tuna, and 7 Skipjack Tuna for 36 anglers on their Full Fay Offshore trip.

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS Bluefin Tuna (30 to 85 lbs.) for 18 anglers to kick off their 1.5 day trip. 

The Dolphin caught 48 Yellowtail (15-20#), LIMITS (65) of Bonito, and 17 Calico Bass for their Full Day CI trip with 13 Anglers.

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS (48) Dorado, 40 Yellowfin Tuna, 50 Yellowtail, 5 Skipjack for their Overnight trip with 24 Anglers.

The Intrigue called in with LIMITS of Calico Bass for their half day private charter.

The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna (95) and LIMITS of Dorado (38) for 19 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen called in with 49 Bluefin Tuna (40 to 150 lbs.) and 43 Yellowtail (12 to 30 lbs.) so far on their 3.5 day charter.  

The Condor returned this morning with 37 Dorado and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 20 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin caught 3 Yellowtail, 30 Bonito, 52 Calico Bass, 8 Sheephead, 1 Halibut, 22 Rockfish, 5 Sculpin and 1 Sculpin for 16 angler on their Full-day trip.

The Condor called in with 37 Dorado and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip with 20 Anglers.

The Liberty called in with LIMITS (78) Dorado, 28 Yellowtail, 5 Skipjack and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their Full Day Offshore trip with 39 Anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS (38) Dorado and 5 Yellowtail for their Overnight trip with 19 Anglers.

The Excel called in with 10 Bluefin Tuna (80 to 140 pounds), These fish were caught on the flatfall jig at night. Hopefully a sign of things to come. They are with in 1.5 day range and see good sign of fish.
 

The Tomahawk returned with 25 Dorado and 23 Skipjack for their 1.5 day trip with 25 Anglers.

The Outrider returned with LIMITS (22) of Dorado, 10 Yellowfin Tuna, 15 Skipjack, and 2 Yellowtail for 11 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
