Bass Are Starting to Move Into The Tullies

Bass are starting to move into the tullies, but are still being caught in deeper water. Try using swim baits for the bigger fish and drop shot rigs in the tulles. Trout were released on 1/28/20. The trout looked like a bigger size than previous plants. Spotty crappie bite with a few bluegill starting to show.

Fishing is slowly but surely improving here at Lake Murray. Many of the bass that were positioned deeper have not started to move into shallower water to stage for Pre-spawn. This past week has seen a lot fo change in the behavior of Lake Murray’s resident bass. Many of the bass that were being caught deeper using jigs, spoons and blade baits have now moved into shallower water preparing to stage for pre-spawn.
