As far as January goes, this is one of the best I have seen. Sand bass, calico bass and sculpin have been the name of the game. Dropper loop rigs with 2oz torpedoes or 11/2-2oz lead heads and 25-30 lb test. Half day trips depart the Oceanside Sea Center Wednesday through Sunday at 10am and return approximately 4pm.
