The lake level is up and so are the crappie counts. The word is getting out the crappie are biting. You will want to use suspending crappie jigs to have the best results. Small shiners are also working. Bass fishermen are having some luck as well. It looks like the bass are being caught at the edges of the tulles. Not many bluegill are being caught but when they are coming out of deep water. Happy New Year! Otay will be open on Saturday and Sunday the next two weeks. We will be closed of the second Wednesday this month. Call 619-688-2072 to talk to someone about the closure.
