10am- Captain Joe Cacciola aboard the Sea Star just caught a halibut that has been weighed onboard with a spring scale at 52lbs. The fish was caught on a dropper loop, 20lb test and a 2oz sinker by local angler Steve Zuniga. Stay tuned for final counts as we have boats fishing everywhere today( San Clemente Island, offshore and local kelp beds). 

3pm Update- The Blue Horizon on its afternoon half day has a couple halibut onboard as well as a nice mix of whitefish and sheapshead and is still fishing.
