Fish Report for 6-9-2019

The Dolphin PM finished with 117 Rockfish, 7 Calico Bass, 1 Sheephead, 1 Ling Cod, and 13 Sculpin.
The Royal Star called in with 115 Yellowfin Tuna with in 1.5 day range.
The Dolphin AM called in with a final fish count of 64 Rockfish, 12 Calico Bass, 1 Sand Bass, 16 Sculpin, 1 White Seabass (25#),1 Halibut, 4 Sheephead, and 2 Ling Cod.
The Liberty called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (25#-30#) and 6 Bluefin Tuna (160 to 190#) for their Full Day Offshore trip for 23 anglers.
The Condor returned this morning with 19 Bluefin Tuna, 8 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Yellowtail and 1 Bonito on their 1.5 Day Offshore Private Charter for 16 anglers.
The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 56 Yellowfin Tuna (12#-25#), 34 Bluefin Tuna (6@60-80#) with the rest at 30# on their 1.5 Day Offshore trip for 34 anglers.
The Pegasus returned this morning with 46 Yellowfin Tuna (15-25#) and 5 Bluefin Tuna (30-40#) for their 1.5 Day Offshore trip with beautiful weather, great fishing conditions, and another trip running Tuesday.
The Tomahawk returned this morning with 41 Bluefin Tuna (30#-80#) and 2 Yellowtail for their Extended 1.5 Day Offshore trip for 28 anglers.
Recommended tackle for these Bluefin trips should include a 25# outfit for kelp patty Yellowtail, a 40# live bait set-up with a 1/0 sized circle hook and fluorocarbon, a 50# sinkered bait outfit, and a 60 or 80# flatfall jig setup rigged with fluorocarbon! These past few days, the schools of fish these tuna boats are chasing down can range from 25lbs to well over 100lbs!
