The Dolphin AM trip finished with 132 Rockfish, 12 Sculpin, 1 Sand Bass and 3 Calico Bass for 49 anglers.  

The Dolphin PM trip called in with 85 Rockfish, 12 Sculpin, 1 Ling Cod, 2 Sheephead, 4 Calico Bass, and 1 Sand Bass for 42 anglers. 

The Tomahawk called in with 37 Bluefin Tuna (30#-80#) and 2 Yellowtail for their Extended 1.5 Day trip for 28 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 46 Yellowfin Tuna (15-25#) and 5 Bluefin Tuna (30-40#) with beautiful weather, great fishing conditions, and another trip running Tuesday.

The Liberty called in with 2 Bluefin Tuna at 120#'s and 1 Yellowtail. They reported beautiful weather with great signs of fish.

The Pacific Queen called in with 37 Yellowfin Tuna and 17 Bluefin Tuna (30 to 80#). They saw the best signs of fish that they've seen all year! 

Recommended tackle for these Bluefin trips should include a 25# outfit for kelp patty Yellowtail, a 40# live bait set-up with a 1/0 sized circle hook and fluorocarbon, a 50# sinkered bait outfit, and a 60 or 80# flatfall jig setup rigged with fluorocarbon! These past few days, the schools of fish these tuna boats are chasing down can range from 25lbs to well over 100lbs!

Friday PM Update

June 6th, 2019 The Condor called in with 5 Bluefin Tuna up to 140# on their 1.5 day trip. The Royal Star called in with 26 Bluefin Tuna (60-80# 1@130#) on their 1.5 day trip.
