The Chubasco2 on a half day trip had good calico bass fishing with lots of fish released. We also caught white fish and a few sheepshead and the icing on the cake was once again a halibut of 23lbs caught by Fred Schmidt of Escondido. We are chartered tomorrow but will resume our half day trip aboard the Chubasco2 on Friday May 25th at 10:00 AM.

Catching a few with limits of fun

The Chubasco2 had a nice day of bottom fishing returning home with 139 white fish and 2 calico bass for only 17 anglers on a half day trip. The Sea Star on a private charter fishing only with hook up baits (No live bait on this trip) caught a nice mixture of fish which included calico bass, sand bass, rockfish and a couple of short white seabass.
