Joe Roder of San Diego landed not only his personal best, but the LARGEST Bluefin Tuna to hit the deck of a Southern California Sportboat in history.

The epic battle between man and beast took place some 50 miles from San Diego in under 1 hour 45 minutes.

Congratulations go out to Joe Roder as well as the crew of the Ranger 85 for this epic achievement.

Capt Robert Gray, Capt. Jeff Bunde, Capt. Richard Whalen, Dustin Burkette, Josh Cleveland and Paul Beyers.

This crew has been dominating this season and have perfected their game resulting in record catches for not only the customers we serve, but shattering boat records as well.
