2.5 to 4-day trips are producing good scores on YFT, BFT, with and nice sprinkling of good Yellowtail too. 

We have been enjoying a fantastic grade of Bluefin Tuna this past two trips. The key is the big fish gear that our fishermen have been bringing. 

2 speed reels, filled with 100-pound spectra, 80 to 100-pound top shot, and 100-pound floral carbon leader, with a 6ott ringed circle hook.

If you don't have a reel like that get one and go Avet, they are top quality. 

You can buy one at any quality tackle store or buy it at H&M Landing.
