Captain Bruce Smith called in at 2:14 PM with an audio update from the Fortune out of 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro, CA. Today we started out the morning at San Clemente Island fishing on a squid nest. We caught 4 White Seabass (30 to 40 pounders). After the sun came up with added 7 Yellowtail (22 to 32 pounds). It was good squid nest fishing today for quality fish. We moved around in to the lee of the island and found some biting Yellowtail. We also had some quality Bonito and Calico Bass.

We are turning back around tonight on a 2 day trip out of 22nd Street Landing. We will check in later.
