CATFISH BITE
The Catfish bite continues to be great! This week we are anticipating another 1,000 pound stocking of catfish! Cats are biting heavily during night fishing! The temperatures have cooled so it is much more comfortable on a boat or on the shoreline! Anglers who soaked Mackerel and Chicken Livers are leaving with limits and large fish! Cloister Cove and the T-Dock were very productive this weekend! If you are new to fishing or need some friendly advice, please stop by our Bait and Tackle Shop!
BASS BITE
The water level has dropped 11 feet and will hold there through November. The water level decrease has made it easier to reach the deeper water structure. Drop shot continues to be the best method to catch bass. Stop by our Bait and Tackle Shop for all of your drop shot needs or to view the GPS maps of the lake structure to better find those big fish!
TROUT AND PANFISH
No trout activity to report.
The Bluegill bite is still on fire! Target the coves with wax worms, meal worms or red worms!
