Ryan Jimenez was fishing with mackerel on 8/15 and landed these nice two channel catfish. the largest weighed in at 29.2 pounds.

Bass are biting more towards the early morning and late afternoon. Bass are being caught on spinner baits in the colors yellow and white chatter baits are also the go to lure for bass. Bluegill are being caught very often around the docks and tullies on live night crawlers. Catfish are being caught on mackerel and they are larger size between 10-20 pounds. Bow fishing has been very popular due to the increase in carp and many have been showing at the end of the narrows towards the freeway. Crappie are not biting very well at the moment due to the heat.

Bass bite is very steady and strong with the narrows being the hot spot. Bass are biting on purple worms and larger senkos in green. Crappie is hard to catch right now with the hot weather. Catfish are being caught in large quantities around the dam area and along the Del Dios shoreline.
