The Albacore bite busted loose last Saturday and has been getting better as the week has progressed. We're finding a large body of fish willing to bite. These fish are great quality. Lots in the 20 - 30 pound range and some jackpot winners are approaching 35 pounds.

The best fishing so far has been from multi-day trips although the overnight boats have started to put up good numbers of fish too. This is by far the best Albacore fishing we've had since 2005. As we look forward all signs point to continued good fishing. The seas are good, weather is outstanding, not much wind, clean water, good water temps, good currents. Man it just doesn't get to be much better conditions than we have right now and it looks like we'll have this for the foreseeable future.

Homan Khaki from Sportfishing report.com joined us for a trip where we were limiting out.

We put a new 1.5 day limited load trip on our calendar leaving Tuesday July 10th at 9:00pm and returning on the 12th at 6:00am. So far we have lots of space available. That's quite surprising with the Albies biting like they are. If you want to get in on some great fishing give us a call at (619) 997-9993 to book your trip.

These fish have been real quality, 15 - 25 pounds with a lot right around 20 pounds. We're still getting some Bluefin in the mix along with some nice Yellowtail. Some of the other boats got a little better numbers of fish than we did but we boated 140 Albacore, 7 nice Bluefin,...... Read More

We're leaving tonight on a 2 day open party trip. We're taking out a light load, about 16 anglers or so. This is going to be a great trip for the guys on board, plenty of elbow room at the rail and room to spread out in the bunk room. Our last trip was a 1.5 day last weekend and we only had 13 Yellowtail. We found a lot of good looking water under a beautiful sky. We also came across...... Read More
