Lake Murray has been very consistent with all species being caught.
Several 9-10 lbs. bass have been caught. This warm weather has triggered the spawn sooner this year. Bass tournament held: 15 anglers, 43 fish/86.1 lbs. largest fish 4.7 lbs
Crappie are hitting on the crappie shiners and we have them on sale at the store.

Bass: Excellent
Avg. Size: 5-10 lbs

Bluegill: Excellent
Avg. Size: 1-2 lbs

Catfish: Good
Avg. Size: 3-4 lbs

Crappie: Fair

Water Temperature: 58 degrees

The concessions report 14 Bass caught by 3 anglers with weights averaging 4 lbs. Lake Murray has been very consistent with all species being caught. Trout are hitting on Power bait, Kastmasters and Rooster tails. The bass are hitting on trout swimbaits and night crawlers. Water Temp.: 54 degrees Bass: Excellent Avg.
