The Sierra Bow Trout bite continues to be fair to good though we are starting to see limits, which are common this time of year. We are expecting February to get even better, which is why we are stocking "Tagged Fish" that month. Another good sign is that the anglers are starting to venture out of Hermit's Cove and this is good because the trout are in more than one place in the early morning. Many of you already know that you can find trout in Hermit's Cove but try checking other coves like Siesta, Cloister and Eagle. There are just as many hanging out there but week after week Hermit's Cove draws the crowd. A handful of anglers did just that this past weekend and from the reports you can see that trout are in more than just one place. Coming this February, we are stocking "Lightning Trout" with some of them having tags for prizes, check the Stocking Schedule listed below for the arrival date. The Largemouth Bass are more and more present as we continue to have warm temperatures. Remember 56 feet of visibility so try fishing deeper. If you would like to stay up to date on what goes on at Lake Jennings you can sign up at www.LakeJennings.org for the weekly Fishermen's News.
