Fishing is good at Lake Hodges, with 5 fish bags for Bass exceeding 30 lbs.

Park Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Water Temperature: 65 to 66 Degrees
Catfish: Have not been seen, it is still too cold
Carp: There are a lot of them in the Coves. The bait is use is nightcrawlers.
Bluegill: The big ones can be found in 10 ft. of water. The bluegill are biting best on mealworms, nightcrawlers and some Rapalas.
Largemouth Bass: Some nice ones are being caught. The Bass Clubs who have fished the lake have had 5 fish bags exceed 30 lbs. There is good action in all Coves near the reeds in 3 ft. of water or less to spawn.
