Excellent fishing at Lower Otay Reservoir this week, including 3 Club Bass Tournaments

The Catfish & Crappie bites were very slow at Otay Reservoir. The Bluegill bite is good, and the Largemouth bite is very good.

Three club Bass Tournaments, (Southland, Double Limit and Bass Company) were held at Otay this weekend. There were a total of 42 boats and 44 Anglers. The number of bass caught were 154 Largemouth. The biggest fish were 5.97 lbs., 5.24 lbs and 5.09 lbs. The largest stringers were 16.95 lbs., 16.2 lbs, and 15.51 lbs. All fish were released after weigh-in.
