Fishing was slow at Lake Jennings this week

Hello from Your Lake Jennings: Our fish sat in front of the a/c and so did most of our anglers. The few (2) that toughed it out found bass and cats on the dam buoyline.

Best Cat Spots: Anywhere along the dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Dam buoyline casting towards the bubbles. Also fish the weedline.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Gunfish, Zara Spooks and spoon.
Water Temp" 80 degrees

Prognosis: Fishing will improve when we get a cool down. The fish try to put as much fat on as possible for next Spring's spawn. Please take note of our new hours.
