Hello from Your Lake Jennings: Not much changed this week. The cat bite was quite good for boaters. Not so hot for bankies. Like we said last week the buoyline was very good. As we drop the lake the grass is on the surface and fishing a frog on the mats has worked during the first and last couple of hours. Crawdads are doing well too!
Best Cat Spots: Both the middle of the Hermit Cove buoyline and anywhere along the dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Dam buoyline casting towards the bubbles. Also fish the weedline.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Morning Dawn worms, frogs and creature baits.
Water Temp: 82 degrees.
Notables: Fri., Derrick Hart, El Cajon, 13-4 channel cat, shiner, fishing float.
Prognosis: Please take note of our new hours. Until mid-May our hours will follow the sun. ? hr. before sunrise to ? hr. after sunset.
