Fishing was very good at El Capitan this week for most species

Several nice catches were reported:
David Le from Poway caught 4 catfish
Gary Pitts from Las Vegas caught 10 bass
Donald Renalds from La Mesa caught 1 4 lb. Bass using plastics
Tom Rayborn from Lakeside caught 3 Bluegill using nightcrawlers
Jon McMillen from Clairmont caught 4 bass. Three weighed in around 2 lbs. and 1 weighed 4 lbs.
Edward Esby of Chula Vista caught 2 bass, 1 weighed 4 lbs. and 1 weighed 2 lbs. He also caught 30 Bluegill
Kala Esby from Chula Vista caught 1 trout that weighed 12.5 lbs. and 20 Bluegill. She was using shiners and worms.
