Notables
Christine Stremlau, age 12 of San Diego caught a 5.7 pound trout, using red, white and blue power bait at Pumphouse Cove.
Mike Strong of Holtville, caught a 6.6 pound trout using a red/gold Thomas Bouyant.
Juan Herrera and Mike Weiss of Alpine caught a 4.25 pound and a 5.5 pound trout, using power bait from the Dike.
Thalise Van Rensberg of San Diego caught a 4.5 pound trout using orange power bait at the North Finger Jetty.
Nick Boudoures of San Diego caught a 4 pound trout using Rainbow Power Bait at the North Finger Jetty.
Meranda, Ricky and Sam Pereira caught three trout weighing 5.5 pounds, 4.5 pounds and 5 pounds at Pumphouse Cove.
Roger Varela, of Imperial Beach, caught a 6 pound trout using a night crawler at the T-Dock.
Jamie Bairu of Oceanside, age 9, caught 2 trout, the largest 5.5 pounds using a night crawler and power bait south of the T-Dock.
Brandon Denny of Pala caught a 6 pound trout using cheese power bait near the T-Dock.
Alexandra Lamas of riverside caught a 7.5 pound trout and a 1 1/2 pound catfish using night crawlers ont he North Shore.
Riley Farmner, age 9 of Ramona caught a 5.5 pound trout using Green Power Bait at Pumphouse Cove.
Jared and Lindsay LeMert of Brawley, both 8 years old caught 2 trout weighing 2 pounds each at Lone Pine.
Free Fishing class every Saturday at 10:00 am. Meet Ranger Charlie at the launch ramp.
THE DECONTAMINATION WASH DOWN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE VESSELS AND MOTORS BEFORE A LAUNCH. ALSO, FLOAT TUBES AND WADERS MUST BE WASHED DOWN BEFORE USING THE LAKE. THERE IS A FEE FOR THE WASH DOWN.
