Friday Updates

  • The Tribute checked in from their 2.5 Day with 33 Dorado and 45 Yellowtail.

Thursday Full Day Trips

  • The San Diego on their full day trip finished up with 81 Yellowfin and 1 Dorado. Current sniper style jigs have been getting bit well but also good to have a 25-30lb live bait setup or surface iron rod.
  • The Sea Watch finished up their Full Day trip with 55 Yellowfin and 3 Skipjack for 17 anglers. The Sea Watch has Full Day trips departing at 5:30AM scheduled through the end of the month. Don't forget those passports.

Thursday New Seaforth Half Day

  • The New Seaforth Pm trip landed Yellowtail weighing up to 45 pounds. The Bonito bite on both the AM and PM continues to be strong, with anglers also getting into bass, Barracuda and Yellowtail. Some of those bonito are in the 10lb range! A 20–30 lb live bait setup with #4 through 2/0 hooks is recommended. Surface irons, stick baits, and smaller sniper-style jigs have been solid choices as well. Rod rentals and fishing licenses are available at the landing during check-in.
