AWESOME OFFSHORE ACTION!!! EXCEL had 31 anglers on a 3-day trip offshore fishing. Good Weather. They landed 4 Blue Fin Tuna,145 Yellowtail & 70 Rockfish. First pot was claimed by Tran Long of Santa Ana with 33.4 Bluefin. 2nd place was taken by Cong Vu of Orange with a 28 lb Bluefin. The third spot by Danh Thao of Santa Ana with 25 lb Bluefin. 17 DAY HURRICANE BANK REPORT!!!! EXCEL just came from a 17 day trip with 20 passengers. They encountered bad weather & lots of Sharks. They took home 209 Yellowtail, 175 Yellowfin Tuna, 97 Wahoo & 1 grouper. Robert Orth of Moreno Valley, Ca got the jackpot with a 180 lb Yellowfin Tuna. 2nd place was taken by Marc Monforte of Fullerton, Ca with a 167.5 lb Yellowfin Tuna. EXCELLENT WEATHER TERRIFIC TRIP!!! 15 day aboard the EXCEL carried 21 anglers to Hurricane Bank/Offshore score 213 Yellowfin & 13 Wahoo. Flat calm weather. Stan Evans of Napa, Ca took the jackpot with a 268.1 lb Yellowfin. Second place went to Colby Temple of Palm City, Fl with a 207.9 lb Yellowfin.
