The Oceanside 95 returned from a 1.5 day trip with 20 Yellowfin Tuna, 16 Bluefin Tuna, 8 Dorado, and 4 Yellowtail for 32 anglers.


The New Lo-An returned from a 3 day trip with 58 Bluefin Tuna and 11 Yellowfin Tuna for 18 anglers. All these fish are 30-60 lbs.

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

 
Local Trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trips departing every day at 8:30 AM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for Bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)




FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock. Friday Afternoon Landing Report: The Point Loma caught 11 Yellowfin Tuna and 3 Bluefin Tuna on their Full Day Private Charter. The Mission Belle caught 9 Yellowfin Tuna and 2 Bluefin Tuna on their Full Day Private Charter. The Oceanside 95 called in to report a catch of 36 Bluefin Tuna, 31 Yellowfin Tuna, and 2 Dorado on their 3-Day Private Charter.
