The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.
The weather looks amazing with week, so this is your chance to get on the boats with light loads and few tangles.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Pegasus called in with 64 yellowtail and 9 bluefin (40-80lbs,) for 19 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Liberty called in with 45 Yellowtail and 1 Bluefin at 90lbs. for 11 anglers.

The Dolphin caught 1 legal Halibut and 27 short Halibut for 24 anglers for their Halibut Derby. 

The Fortune called in with 30 Bluefin Tuna (50 to 100 lbs.) for 21 anglers on a 1.5 day charter.

The Liberty caught 23 Yellowtail, 5 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Bonito and 1 Yellowfin Tuna on their Full Day Trip for 23 anglers.

The Dolphin had 119 rockfish for 14 anglers on their AM trip.

The Fortune returned this morning with 35 Bluefin Tuna(up to 150lbs) on their 2-day trip with 9 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (70) on their 1.5 day trip.
