The beginning of our trout season Saturday December 10th is only a couple weeks away. We will re-open for weekday fishing at that time. In response to the shorter days for a limited time the ½ day boat prices will be offered beginning at noon instead of 1:00 p.m.

Fall is a time of increased feeding for the catfish. As they prepare for winter, they become more voracious and less discriminating. Lake Wohlford cats prefer chicken liver, shrimp, or cut mackerel.

Largemouth Bass can be found lurking around structure. With the re-introduction of trout just around the corner this might be an excellent time to dust off those swimbaits in hopes of enticing an over eager lunker.
