  • A lot of the fleet is still running into the large grade Bluefin and having good opportunities on biting fish. We are recommending having a minimum of 80# line and also 4 to 8 ounce torpedo sinkers, heavy fluorocarbon leaders and some heavy wire 1/0-2/0 hooks to fish the sinker rig. The sinker rig has produced a good number of daytime fish over the past few days. The savvy angler would also have some 300-500g knife jigs on hand as well.

  • The Pacifica returned this morning from a 1.5 Day trip with 39 Bluefin weighing up to 185 pounds for their 27 anglers.

  • The Tribute had a great 1.5 Day trip with 32 Bluefin for their 20 anglers. Most of their fish were in the 80-180 pound range but they did have one standout at 256 pounds! The Tribute has a 1.5 Day trip departing this Sunday with plenty of availability.

  • The Polaris Supreme called in earlier today from their 1.5 Day trip with limits of Bluefin for their 23 passengers. A majority of their fish are in the 70-90 pound ragne with some weighing up to 150 pounds.

  • The Voyager has a Limited Load 2 Day trip departing this Monday targeting Bluefin and Yellowtail. The ticket price is $750 and meals are included. Permits are additional.
