  • The San Diego reported in from their Full Day trip with 5 bluefin on the boat. The fish range from 120-170 pounds. We are seeing a wide variety of sizes on these Bluefin, and the best gear recommendation we can make, is bring everything from 30 pound rigs up to 100 pound rigs. We have rental gear available to fill in the gaps for you.
  • The Polaris Supreme reported in with limits of Bluefin for all three days of their Three day trip! They have fish up to 180 pounds on the boat.

Saturday Updates The San Diego wrapped up their Full Day trip with 42 Bluefin for their 35 anglers. Captain Matt recommends having a 40# Flyline outfit for fishing the live bait, as well as a 60# rig with some 80-100# leader for the sinker rig and jigs.
