Monday Update

The Polaris Supreme returned from their Three Day Trip with 110 bluefin tuna. The majority of the fish were in the 50-150 pound range. Captain Aliyar stated that 40# flyline and 300g-500g jigs were key to getting a bite. For those heading out soon don't leave that heavy gear at home! It looks like we are going to be needing it once again.

Unfortunately, today's weather is going to have us sidelined for the time being. We still have both of our Half Day trips available for Tuesday and Wednesday we hope to be right back at it and headed into April with some momentum.

The San Diego wrapped up Sunday's trip to the Coronado Islands with 3 Yellowtail, 6 Calico Bass and 341 assorted rockfish for their full load of 35 anglers today. The San Diego will be taking the next couple of days off but still have a few spots remaining for their run on Wednesday. We are still recommending yo-yo jigs for targeting the Yellowtail and having a bottom fishing setup as well. There are still plenty of spots remaining for the rest of the week as well, there have been windows of stellar fishing down at the islands so don't miss your chance to grab a spot before they sell out. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers.
