Out here at Lake Hodges the fishing has really picked up. The pre bass spawn has been great producing some big boys. There were several 7 pound plus largemouth and at 10.75 lbs.
Swimbaits, rapalas and robos were doing best. The points were doing well especially Peninsula Point. The crappie bite has slowed some but the were still showing up. Cats were doing well in the deeps with your favorite home made stink bait.
Water temperature: 62 degrees.
