Fishing has definitely picked up due to the warmer weather we have been having. The afternoon bite for Bass fishing this weekend was better than the morning bite. Anglers have reported various depths for Bass, which is normal for this time of year.

The most popular method right now is drop shot and crank baits.

The thick algae bloom we had a couple weeks ago went away. As of a couple days ago, it has returned some.

Crappie season is here and it should be a really good year! The Bluegill and Catfish reports have been good recently. The most popular bait for Bluegill has been red worms and crickets.
