The trout bite remains consistent with reports of fish being caught on powerbait and spoons. Popular colors include chartreuse and rainbow. George (pictured above) caught this five pound rainbow trout out of Lake 4 on powerbait. Popular spots include the south shore of Lake 2 and the southeast corner of Lake 3. The bass have been biting on soft bodied swimbaits and soft plastics. Popular choices include the 6 inch huddleston and a wacky rigged senko. Popular spots include the west shore of Lake 5 and the east shore of Lake 3. Lakes 2 and 3 were most recently stocked on Friday, December 17. A portion of Lakes 3 and 4 will be closed to fishing Thursday, December 30 in order to let the fish acclimate properly.
