The bass bite has been tough for most, as the fish have been scattered from 1' to 50' of water. Drop shot, jgis, etc. produced some bites for the deep fish, shallow ones have biting reaction baits. There were a few large catfish spotted visually, but no reports of any catches. Panfish bite has just about shut down, as only a handfull of smaller bluegill were came in.

There's been some breaking fish early, but nothing consistent as of yet. Bottom bouncing techniques have been working throughout the day in 35' to 50' of water. The bass bite was a bit scratchy last week, but anglers willing to put in the effort managed some decent numbers. It was mostly a fineese bite in 25' to 35' of water, all over the lake. Still no signs of fish schooling up, and chasing bait as of yet.  Big fish went to Mark Alcado of San Diego, who stuck a 9.1 on a fluke.
