The catfish have been biting on a mixture of chicken liver and mackerel. Popular spots include the west shore of Lake 3 near the point and the east shore of Lake 4. The bass have been biting on flukes and senkos. Popular spots include the west shore of Lake 5 and the southwest shore of Lake 2. The bluegill have been biting on wax worms in the early morning and late evening. Popular spots include the southeast corner of Lake 4 and the south shore of Lake 2. Lakes 4 and 6 were most recently stocked with 500 pounds of catfish each. Our next scheduled stock will take place on Friday, October 1 after park closing in preparation for our mega stock event. Starting October 1 the park hours will now be 8 AM to 6 PM Monday-Thursday and 6 AM to 6 PM Friday-Sunday.
Join us October 2 and 3 from 6 AM to 6 PM for our annual mega catfish stock event. Lakes 2-7 will be stocked. Lake 6 and 7 is for registered campers only. You can pre-purchase your permits now!
