The weather has been slowing down the bite the past week. Patience is a virtue when fishing in these conditions. The early morning and later evenings are your key times to capitalize on the bite. Bass are biting on tops with a shad crank bait and frogs are working as well. Bluegill are biting on live night crawlers and wax worms.

The weather is still warm and fishing was good this week. Moe’s hole was producing they sweet. There is a lot fo shad in the water and the top water bite has been good. Throw anything that looks like shad and you should get hit in the mornings.
