Thursday Reports

  • We've had some great Bluefin fishing over the past couple days out at the banks as shown by the multiple limits from this morning's returning trips. Our Full Day boats are still on the hunt for those elusive Yellowfin Tuna and we're staying hopeful that things pick back up. Right now the hot ticket for the Bluefin has been fly-lined baits on 30 to 40 pound line with matching fluorocarbon leaders and either a size 2 or 4 circle hook.

  • The Pacific Voyager returned from a 4 Day trip with 96 Yellowfin Tuna, 72 Bluefin and 12 Yellowtail. They have Bluefin weighing up to 180lbs, so be sure to have some heavier gear for those multi-day trips.
  • The Tribute returned this morning from their 1.5 Day Trip with 62(limits) Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowtail for their 31 anglers. The Tribute still has spots available for their 1.5 Day trip next week departing on Tuesday night.
  • The Pacifica returned from their 1.5 Day Trip 56(limits) Bluefin Tuna and 10 Yellowtail for their 28 anglers.
  • The Pride finished from their 1.5 Day charter with 26(limits) Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin tuna for their 13 anglers.
  • The Aztec wrapped up their 3.5 Day charter with 102(limits) Bluefin Tuna, 1 Yellowfin Tuna, and 53 Yellowtail for their 17 anglers.
