Monday Reports

  • We saw some more great Yellowfin Tuna action from our Full Day trips today with some Bluefin Tuna mixed in as well. Much of the fleet are on multi-day trips right now so hopefully we have more good news in the coming days.
  • The Sea Watch finished their Full Day Offshore trip with 54 Yellowfin and 3 Bluefin for their 14 anglers! Captain Ryan stated that the best setup for the day was 25 or 30 pound line with a matching fluorocarbon leader and a size 4 J hook with a smaller sized sardine. They still have availability for all of their Full Day trips departing this week!
  • Captain Aliyar just called in earlier this afternoon from the Polaris Supreme with limits of Bluefin for the first day of their 3 Day trip. The fish are between 30 to 70 pounds and he mentioned that 40 pound fluorocarbon and a size 2 mutu hook was the key for getting a bite.
  • The Tribute reported in around noon today with 62 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 Day trip so far. They still have plenty of spots available for their 1.5 Day trip departing tomorrow night so don't miss out!
