  • The Tribute reported in from their One Day trip with 61 yellowtail on the boat. The fish are in the 10 to 25 pound range. A flyline setup with 30 pound test and a size 1/0 or 2/0 hook has been very effective.

Saturday Report Yellowtail fishing continues to be the highlight of the Overnight and 1.5 Day trips. The Bluefin and Yellowfin have been making a showing on the sonar and glass but refuse to go for a hook for the time being. The next trip out could be the day they bite! Friday Reports We're continuing to see good Yellowtail counts offshore right now with some Dorado and Yellowfin still in the mix.. The San Diego and Sea Watch both found Bluefin today. The San Diego had 4 fish from 60 to 130 lbs and the Sea Watch had 3 Bluefin betewwn 60 and 90 lbs.
