We stocked catfish yesterday and they are actively biting on Senior Shoreline, near Bass Point, and in their usual spots on either end. The carp are spawning in the shallows and their splashing can be both seen and heard all over the lake. Lake Wohlford cats respond well to cut mackerel or chicken liver.

Mostly smaller bass being caught close to shore. The bass are hitting mostly jerk-baits.

The crappie have been harder to come by as of late. The few that have been caught have been from boats trolling for them. Crappie prefer live golden shiners or mini-jigs
