The bass bite has been very good this past week, the bluegill are making their move also. One report came in with 8 Bluegill and 2 Bass. The bass were in the 2 pound range and the bluegill were all small. Meal worms seem to be the ticket for the bluegill along with red worms and crickets. The bite is pretty good along any of the tules, use a bobber and an 18 inch leader in 5 to 10 feet of water. The bass are hanging out off the points in the tules. Drop shot with a senko 4” watermelon with black flake or finesse a Texas rig with a 4-6 inch Roboworms, MM11 or morning dawn early morning.

The bluegill were biting on meal worms. The cats were biting mackerel and chicken livers too. Good...... Read More
