Greetings From Lake Miramar in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of San Diego. The bass spawn is happening with aggressive males on guard. They have moved in close and are visible. Work to dock off of Natalie’s Point. Throwing swim baits and plastics towards the tulles and reeling back slowly have been working well. Both the Texas rig and drop shot are advised. Catfish at Moe’s hole have been a good pet this week using mackerel. Bluegill are still biting the smaller meal worms.

Good luck out there.

If you present the bait right in front of their face they have no choice but to bite. Drop shot plastics in the tallies off the point has been the...... Read More
