The fish are in the 12-20lb range and are being caught primarily on 40-50# line and full size yoyo jigs. A VALID passport is required for these trips. The San Diego finished their Full Day trip to the Coronado Islands with 23 Yellowtail, 27 Vermilion, 6 Sheephead and 106 Rockfish for their 32 anglers! . Captain Ryan recommends 40-50lb line on an appropriate sized yoyo reel. Both the full size and junior size jigs are working, but the full size have the edge currently.
