It was a slow week for shoreline fishing. But the trout are spreading out in the lake and are being caught further along the shoreline from Boulder Bay and Hidden Bay to Bucktail Bay.  The catfish bite has been steady all year, when boats are available it’s best to post up on the Log-Boom and if you're fishing from the shoreline catfish are most frequently caught from Jump Off Point onward.  The best baits for trout this season have been mini jigs (natural colored or yellow / orange), spinners, and power bait.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit keep a 6 ft. distance when in line and adhere to the maximum occupancy for the store.  Ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information.

When renting a boat everyone still must bring a face covering and wear it when required. Show picture ID at dock after renting a boat at concessions. All occupants of a boat must be from the same household.
