December 6, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Royal Polaris returned this AM from a 10 day trip where they spent the last 2 days fishing bluefin with in 1.5 day range. They have LIMITS (50) of Bluefin tuna 25 to 50 pound range.

12/07/2020
The PM trip caught 24 Calico Bass and released 34 Calico Bass, 8 Sheephead, 16 Rockfish and 1 Sandbass for 6 anglers.

The Dolphin called in with 21 Rockfish, 12 Sheephead, 4 Sculpin, 3 Sand bass, 2 Calico bass for their Am 1/2 day trip with 6 Anglers.

The Royal Polaris is finishing up a 10 day trip and is with in 1.5 day range and they have LIMITS (50) of Bluefin tuna 25 to 50 pound range.

The Outrider called in with LIMITS of Bluefin up to 60# for day 1 of their  2.5 day trip for 7 anglers. 

The Tomahawk returned this AM with 73 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 pounds and a 40 pound avg. They are on the 2nd day of a 2.5 day trip with 25 anglers.

12/6/2020
The Dolphin PM caught 40 Rockfish and 10 Whitefish for 18 anglers. 

The Dolphin AM caught 72 Rockfish, 4 Sculpin, and 1 Sand Bass for 19 anglers. 

The Tomahawk called in with 73 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 pounds and a 40 pound avg. They are on the 2nd day of a 2.5 day trip with 25 anglers.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (68) of Bluefin Tuna for 34 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. These fish were mostly in the 40 to 70 lbs. range with a couple over 100 lbs. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently
